Our grass hay is now cut, hoping to bale by the end of the week! We have timothy/brome mix bales as well as some straight timothy. One of the most volatile crops out there, hay harvests
are directly connected to the amount of precipitation we receive while
trying to bale (which, in turn, is directly related to the mental
health of the farmer!) Keep an eye out for good weather and a nose out for freshly cut grass. It's a hot commodity, get it while you can so you don't have to ship it in or pay the high prices in the winter! Call anytime for orders.
